Mission and Vision

The Hospital Operations Division provides quality, patient and customer focused, accessible and comprehensive support in the areas of Plans, Operations, Readiness, Security and Training, supporting the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center through medical missions that are vital to the health care of our beneficiaries in Central Texas. We provide the training and support that allows personnel and staff achieve their highest level of competency through new technology, procedures, clinical capabilities and educational services.

Overview

Plans Branch

The Plans Branch is responsible for emergency management, quality training programs and training classes to support the Medical Center, Southern Regional Medical Command, and Fort Hood installation.

Training Branch

The Training Branch provides administrative support, logistical resources, and training guidance to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center's staff and subordinates. The staff members provide or coordinate training and educational opportunities to support the professional growth of all personnel within the command.

Operations Branch

The Operations Branch coordinates PROFIS assignments, Operation Orders, Method of Instruction (MOIs), special events, Command and Staff briefings and Letter of Instruction (LOIs), recurring reports for CRDAMC.

Security Branch

The Security Branch provides procedural guidance, advice, assistance, and oversight for personnel, information, industrial and communication security. The Security Branch is also responsible for providing continuous security awareness education and training for all personnel assigned to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood Dental Activity, Southern Plains Veterinary Service Support District, and the Warrior Transition Brigade.
