Provide comprehensive legal advice to the MEDCEN and DENTAC Commanders, Great plains Regional Dental Command, South Plains Veterinary Service Support district, and their staffs on Administrative Law; Fiscal Law; Information Law; Labor and Personnel Law; Health Law; Tort law; litigation; and Ethics (Standards of Conduct) issues, while promptly investigating and adjudicating all potential and formal claims of medical/dental malpractice arising from treatment by MEDCEN/DENTAC personnel, ensuring timely and appropriate tort claims and tort litigation assistance is provided to HQDA and Department of Justice.

The CRDAMC Legal Office focuses on providing expert legal advice and training to Commanders and staff members on a wide variety of legal issues including; Labor law; Fiscal law; Ethics; and Administrative law. The CRDAMC Legal Office processes and investigates all Medical Tort Claims received by the medical center and also processes all Medical Affirmative Claims in the region. The Center Counsel provides Ethics (organizational and medical legal) counseling and training for staff members of MEDCEN, DENTAC, and VETS. Our Office advises the command on investigations, command policies, congressional inquiries, and medical training agreements. We also provides limited legal assistance for inpatients.
