Common Side Effects Of The Immunizations

DTAP= Localized swelling, redness & soreness at the injection site. Fever up to 102-103°F 6-8 hours from the time of injection
Prenar= Nodule/bump may be felt at injection site for a few weeks or longer. Fretfulness, drowsiness, vomiting and a decreased appetite may occur
HIB= Redness, warmth, swelling at injection site, fever
MMR= Headache, decreased energy, nausea & vomiting, sore throat mat occur. Rash/fever may occur 1-2 weeks after the injection, lasting a few days
IPV= Localized swelling, redness
HepB= Localized swelling, redness, warmth, soreness/pain at injection site. Fever, fatigue/weakness, malaise, headache. Nausea and diarrhea
Varivax= Fever up to 102°F. Pain and redness at injection site. Outbreak of a few lesions
