Overview

The Department of Operational & Deployment Medicine (DODM) was established in June 2010 at CRDAMC for the purpose of consolidating all Soldier medical readiness functions under one department: Installation MEDPROS Coordinator, SRP, PDHRA, TMC 14, SMRC, Med Stop One (Copeland Service Center) and the medical management center (MMC). DODM is responsible for conducting pre-deployment and post deployment health assessments (PDHA), post deployment health re-assessments (PDHRA), Soldier physicals to include periodic health assessments (PHA), active duty Soldier medical in processing, clinic medical coverage for Soldiers training at North Fort Hood (NFH), and for managing the medically non-deployable (MND), medically non ready (MNR) active duty Soldier population on Fort Hood.
