Purpose of Troop Medical Clinic (TMC) 14
This Department of Operational and Deployment Medicine (DODM) clinic serves Mobilizing units and Demobilizing units at North Fort Hood. It is also utilized for Medical support of Annual Training (AT) units assigned to North Fort Hood.
Sick Call
Weekdays from 7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Weekends and Holidays to be announced and varies with the population of NFH. Weekends & Holidays are at Thomas Moore Health Clinic, bldg. 2245, located at the corner of 58th street and 761st Tank Battalion Ave. Times are from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
MOB/DEMOB units on North Fort Hood will receive sick call availability information during their Troop Medical Center (TMC) briefing and from their unit contacts. Sick call hours are also posted on the door of TMC 14.

Follow up/ Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) Appt.:
Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Acute Walk-In Appts.:
Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Medical Care
Provide medical support through acute care and follow up medical appointments. Provide minor procedures as needed, to include incision and drainage of abscess, sutures, splinting, fluorescein stain eye exams, cerumen removal, wound care, minor debridement, and toenail removal. Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) evaluations are referred to the Communicable Disease Services at Thomas Moore Health Clinic (after initial eval and treatment, for tracking, and follow up purposes).
Soldier Readiness Services
Through coordination with the Operational and Deployment Medicine branch, mobilizing units, vaccination verification (Small Pox) and tuberculin skin test readings are performed and documented in MEDPROS, and as needed, AHLTA.
Ancillary Services
- Laboratory: Offers routine specimen collection and cultures for transport to CRDAMC lab. Performs on site, Rapid Strep, Rapid Influenza, Urinalysis, pregnancy testing, Wet Prep, Occult Blood, KOH, and blood glucose.
- Pharmacy: Provides Depo-Provera medication for injection. Troop Medical Clinic Pre-Packs use for medication prescribing. (See OTC formulary, and TMC Formulary lists).
