To enhance force readiness and return soldiers to duty as soon as possible, pregnant active-duty females who are acutely ill have priority in the Women's Health Center at Darnall Army Medical Center. Women's Health Center sick call sign-in is 7:30 to 8:00 a.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Pregnant female soldiers should get Sick Slips (DD Form 689) from their units before going to sick call. Soldiers who miss the sign-in time and feel they need to be seen for health problems should call the clinic triage nurse, 288-8133.
Sick call patients are seen in the order of the severity of problems, with the most serious conditions seen first. After duty hours and on weekends: Pregnant soldiers should go to the Emergency Department at Darnall if less than 20 weeks pregnant, or go to Labor & Delivery on the second floor of Darnall if over 20 weeks pregnant. Please call Labor & Delivery before arriving, 288-8400.
