Overview

Your Primary Care Manager may submit a consult to be seen by the General Surgery Clinic.

The General Surgery Service at CRDAMC offers clinical expertise in all aspects of general surgery including colon and rectal surgery, surgical oncology, trauma and critical care, surgery for morbid obesity, surgery of the breast, pancreas and biliary tract, Laparoscopic, endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery is also offered. All staff surgeons on the General Surgery Service are board certified and some additionally are certified in a surgical subspecialty.

The General Surgery Service provides surgical treatment of abdominal diseases such as but not limited to; gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, small and large intestine, anorectum, and hernias; endocrine diseases such as thyroid; breast disease; chest diseases to include esophagus and lung; skin problems such as burns and other lesions, and trauma.

Additionally, laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, as well as endoscopic surgical techniques are offered when appropriate to include laparoscopic reflux surgery and colonoscopy.

We also provide three bariatric surgeries, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Banding and Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass.

Minor surgical procedures are also performed in clinic.
