Overview

The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center uses proven strategies that enhance the reliability, safety and quality of care received by our patients in an effort to reduce preventable hospital readmissions, prevent medical errors, improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.

NSQIP is a data collection process of real surgical cases performed at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in which robust reports are generated that provide performance information to guide surgical care and identify areas for improvement for the greatest return and highest impact.
