As of February 1, 2013, the Fort Hood Veterinary Treatment Facility will no longer be holding weekly walk–in clinics on Tuesdays. The Tuesday walk–in clinics will be replaced with regularly scheduled technician appointments. Please call (254) 287-6719/2823 to make an appointment for your pet. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Getting Started

An Enrollment Form must be submitted to the Fort Hood Veterinary Treatment Facility in building 4909 or the Fort Hood Stray Animal Facility in Building 4902 prior to making an appointment. You can also fax the enrollment form to (254) 288-0440. When enrolling please bring all recent vaccination history. After enrolling please allow 24 hours before scheduling an appointment.
To schedule an appointment please call (254) 287-6719 or (254) 287-2823.
If you schedule an appointment for vaccinations, a veterinary technician will see your animal. If your pet needs to be seen for a medical condition other than vaccinations, please make sure that your appointment is with a veterinarian.
During full capacity, we are often unable to answer the telephone. If you have difficulty reaching us via telephone, we encourage you to stop by the clinic to make an appointment or cancellation in person.
