CINAHL Plus w/Full-Text: Nursing and allied health literature with CE.

ClinicalKey: Clinical medicine books, journal literature with CME. Procedures Consult, video procedures tutorials.

ClinicalKey for Nursing: Clinical nursing book and journal literature with CME. Nursing skills learning, maintenance, and tracking.

Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source (DOSS): Dental and oral sciences literature- resources useful for maxillofacial surgery.

DynaMedPlus Package: Find it under “Point of Care Tool Suite.” Includes the following:

Health Business Elite & Health Policy Reference Center: Professional literature supporting the business of healthcare.

JAMA backfiles: Journal literature from the American Medical Association. Current JAMA titles are available through Ovid.

Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI): accessible through Ovid. Evidence-based nursing practice database that provides access to tools to create manuals, consumer information pamphlets, and to adapt existing guidelines for local use. Other tools help users appraise individual papers using a checklist, conduct clinical audits, and develop systematic reviews of multiple papers.


LexiComp: Pharmaceutical reference. Mobile app available.

MDGuidelines: Return to work disability determinations. Personal account required.

Natural Medicines Comprehensive: Supplements and complementary medicine. Personal account required.

New England Journal of Medicine: Journal literature.

UpToDate: Point of care reference with CME. Mobile app available. Keeping the mobile app active requires periodic re-authentication from a MEDCOM-networked PC. Personal accounts created for CMS can be used to login from any location. /p>
